Many died during the recently held elections in Bengal and approx 12 killed after the results.
It has left us wondering ; Has the Democracy won in Bengal or the Fear.
This question can only be answered by some one who resides in Bengal and seen the whole process himself.
If its democracy , then the issue is Why only BJP supporters were targeted after the results.
And if it is the Fear that has won then it reminds me of a quote of H. L. Mencken who had once said "The average man does not want to be free. he simply wants to be safe."
To state that Post Poll violence in Bengal is not something unusual, again leaves one wondering because If Violence is not unusual Does it mean that Loss of Life is acceptable and nothing should be done to bloody stop this.
Its a pity that some journalists find this usual.
Mr Modi must take a leaf out from history and learn something from Mrs Indira Gandhi.
